PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY FOR SENSORIZED COMPOSITE PULTRUDED BARS, EUROPEAN PATENT EP 15425072.4 (BIM-37)

Development and realization of pultruded sensorizes profiles allows to obtain elements in composite material that, in addition to resistance function that they are called to satisfy and for which they were designed, have the added value to ensure monitoring (in terms of deformation, temperature and/or stress states) of the structural element on which they are applied.
They are basically pultruded profiles used as cutting and bending reinforcement of reinforced concrete beams and masonry walls, on surface of which they are applied via NSM technique (Near Surface Mounted).
Object of invention procedure is the incorporation of sensors or actuators in the context of a traditional production line of pultruded components, so-called "in continuous series."
The invention can be applied to construction industry.
