KNOW-HOW AND SOFTWARE FKNOW-HOW AND SOFTWARE FOR REALIZATION OF A NEURODEGENERATIVE DISEASES DIGNOSIS INTEGRATED SYSTEM (BIM-1)
Thanks to know-how and to the software developed, it is possible create a system that allows to speed up diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases.
Currently a typical measure of imaging (CT, Resonance) does not provide useful information for the diagnosis of disease and identification and qualification of parts of the brain involved if not in an advanced stage.
The solution, based on software and very short time computational methods , allows to identify the disease even in early stages.
The system allows to carry out a diagnosis on the basis of medical imaging data sent by user. Diagnosis is made on the basis of certain biomarkers and on carried training. Training was carried out on a real dataset of healthy patients and diseases suffering ones.
Main parts are:
- Front-end, used for interfacing with user
- Back-end used for computational process management.
In the front end part was developed a web application for insertion and management of user data, in this case master data and diagnostic data.
In the Back-end it was developed the"smart" part of system that is the one that allows to identify if a patient is suffering the disease.
