DISEGNI+3 – Cresce il numero di proposte presentate!

P> After the great success of the second edition of the Drawings Call +, which shows a bottom in Image Synthesis statistical analysis, it increased significantly the number of companies that have taken advantage of the CETMA expert contribution for candidacy proposals for enhancement of the drawings/models inside of the invitation dESIGNS + 3 . Twenty-nine year presenting proposals for a total of 26 companies that have relied on CETMA for assistance activities in the design protection and accompaniment in the application path.

Components for aircraft, medical devices, boats, outdoor furniture and children, upholstered furniture, building panels, musical instruments, equipment for catering, packaging, wind turbines, disposable products, fashion accessories, AR applications for virtual manufacturing and more among the products evaluated by CETMA and its network of partners and qualified partners. Different needs expressed by the group of companies, from research on new materials, prototyping, to its technical advice to the production chain up to the consultancy specializing in the approach to the market. The investigation of the first proposals will end in the month of June 2016.

CETMA supporting for years the importance of the Design/Model Registered Community (DMC), a right of unitary intellectual property administered by 'UAMI and valid in all 28 EU countries. "For twelve years," says the OHIM President António Campinos, "the DMC has offered protection of designs and models in all kinds of companies - from established multinationals to start-ups."

The DMC is an important resource for the development of European enterprises: 12.2 per cent of all jobs in the European Union is related to industries operating intensively with drawings and models, which in turn generate 12.8 percent of EU GDP (source: Office/European patent Office, 2013).
