CETMA won in H2020

The European Commission has awarded the consolidated experience of CETMA on sustainable materials arising from construction and demolition waste (CDW) funding with more than 5 million euro the project "Reuse and Recycling of CDW materials and structures in energy efficient prefabricated elements for building refurbishment and construction - RE 4 "under the Programme for Research and Innovation Horizon 2020.

the overall objective the project is the realization of energy-efficient construction made entirely from prefabricated components containing at least 65% by weight of materials/structures from CDW waste.



the project, which is the leader CETMA, in fact sees the participation of 12 international partners including the Queen's University of Belfast , National Taiwan University of Science and Technology , the Spanish construction multinational Acciona Infraestructuras , the consortium Technologies and Research Development for the Seismically Safe and Environmentally sustainable Construction STRESS , the Swedish Research Institute on concrete CBI Betonginstitutet AB , the European Association Association des Cites et des Regions et pour le Recyclage la Gestion durable des Ressources, ACR + .

Re 4 is the first major project of R&D funded under the H2020 coordinated by an Apulian Research Centre.
