Objective | Development of a manufacturing oriented keel-beam (compatible with high production rate) at an affordable cost for a short-range aircraft, using thermoplastic composites.
The main target of reducing assembly cost is addressed with minimizing the use of fasteners and using an innovative welding technology patented by CETMA.
CETMA’s role | Manufacturing of wall skin and stringers of the keel beam demonstrator, joining of the whole component.
