EoL PV panels | RECOVERY | REUSE

Objective | The recovery, using innovative technologies, and the valorization of different materials – such as aluminium, copper, silver, silicon and glass – resulting from the treatment of end-of-life photovoltaic panels (EoL PV). The Project, according to circular economy strategy and zero-wastes approach, consists of three main paths including the recovery of photovoltaic modules, purification and reuse of silicon as well as the reuse of recovered glass for the development of sustainable building materials.

CETMA’s role | Development of eco-sustainable building materials with recycled glass fraction from EoL PV panels and support to industrial partner (ITO) for the process upscaling.
